Additionally, IPC must put measures so that specialized subjects like classification could be made understandable to everyone watching the sport. As I watched the Paris Olympics on Sunday, I noticed a striking similarity in two different sports that sits well with business and corporate as well. Badminton Men's Semifinals: Lakshya Sen had 3 set points but couldn't close it out, as reigning champion Viktor Axelsen displayed remarkable composure and grit. Tennis Men's Final: The energetic Carlos Alcaraz faltered in high-pressure tiebreakers, losing 7-6, 7-6 to the veteran Novak Djokovic. Both matches highlighted how the seasoned players managed to excel in high-pressure moments, demonstrating the invaluable advantage of experience and the knack of having been in such situations over extended periods of time. While the calm and calculated approach of these veterans led them to triumph, it’s crucial to also recognize the relentless energy, hunger & innovation brought by the younger athletes. Alcaraz and Sen showed incredible talent and promise, proving that the exuberance of youth can challenge even the most experienced. In business, as in sports, both experience and youthful vigor are vital. Experience brings a strategic edge in critical situations, while youthful enthusiasm drives innovation and fresh perspectives. Do you know what #Paralympics stands for? I can tell you it 100% is NOT a shortened term for "paraplegic" Olympics. It derives from the Greek preposition “para” (beside or alongside), in other words a parallel #Olympics for people with disabilities. So why the break between the Olympics and the Paralympics?... Why not run it all at once? Fundamentally, it takes a significant amount of logistics to bump out Olympic athletes from 329 events in 32 sports from the village only for Paralympic athletes competing in a staggering 549 events in 22 sports to arrive and get setup!
