Together for Democracy and Diversity: A Look Back and a Look Ahead 🗳️🌍 On September 15, we celebrated the International Day of Democracy – a reminder of the importance of protecting our democratic values. Earlier this year, we launched the business initiative for democracy and diversity (widv.de) in partnership with community4you AG, with the goal of actively standing up for the values that define our society. 🗝️ Key political events, such as the European elections and state elections in Saxony and Thuringia, are now behind us. In the run-up to these elections, we worked to raise the visibility of the business community’s voice through various actions, highlighting our stand on democracy and diversity. On September 12, we held our first network meeting after the elections, reflecting on how we, as a network, have expressed our position and clearly communicated what we stand for. Looking ahead: The challenges remain significant, and we are committed to continuing our work to promote democratic values. A key milestone lies ahead with next year’s federal elections. Our commitment is unwavering, as we believe that lasting change is only possible through collective efforts.
