🌍 Earth Overshoot Day 🌍 This year, as of August 1st, we have consumed the resources that nature can renew in one year and started borrowing from our future. According to the WWF-Türkiye, we could have pushed Earth Overshoot Day forward by 93 days by gradually reducing fossil fuels and shifting towards renewable energy sources. We couldn't take these steps this year, but we know what we can do to create a more sustainable impact next year and beyond. At JE, we promise to protect the environment for future generations. On Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, we will be participating in Earth Hour. This global initiative encourages everyone to switch off non-essential lights and appliances for one hour at 8:30 pm (local time). By doing so, we hope to raise awareness about climate change and energy conservation.   We are proud to update you that our dedication to renewable energy has doubled this year, reaching an impressive 42% usage. We already reached and exceeded our goal of reducing carbon emissions by 42% by 2023. Moving forward, we are setting new targets for reducing Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon emissions in line with the Science Based Targets Initiative. Let’s make Earth Hour more than just a symbolic gesture.
