BYD shifts to direct sales in Germany, setting up a National Sales Company for expanded dealer partnerships.
#BYD is planning to end its cooperation with the Swedish Hedin Group as an importer in Germany and take over sales itself from October 1st. The reason for this is said to be the weak sales figures to date. In Germany, Hedin had concluded agreements with 6 👉dealer groups to handle BYD sales and service at established locations - at the same time, Hedin had also set up its own branches. BYD currently has 27 sales locations in Germany . It is not yet known what the alleged separation from Hedin means for the partnerships with these dealer groups.
