How would you feel if you didn’t have a choice as to where you get your car repaired?  Today, voters in Maine go to the polls to decide on the Right to Repair Act.  The issue at hand is that Auto Manufacturers are attempting to limit access to key information about a vehicle’s performance and diagnostic data - limiting your ability either fix it yourself or to take it to your local repair shop and instead forcing you to go to a dealer for repairs.  If that seems inherently unfair….well, it is. Cars are expensive assets, and you should be able to choose where you get yours repaired.   Good luck Maine….Vote Yes on Question 4. www.mainerighttorepair.org    www.autocare.org   @righttorepairme
