I began my journey as a PGA Member in 1996. In 1996 I was playing persimmon, re-whipping woods, changing out balata every 2-3 holes, folding cotton shirts for display, signaling lightning with an airhorn while riding around the course in a cart, and the telephone was the most technological solution golf clubs provided their professional staffs for booking tee times, placing special orders, and providing updates to customers on their orders.
