Working on a new course and I need your input. In 2023, 100+ people took the Newsletter Essentials course. It was published in Stacked Marketer Pro. But I haven’t revealed everything inside the course, yet. It serves as the essential foundation for a solid newsletter business, thus the name Newsletter Essentials. But it’s not the complete blueprint. The next step would be the Newsletter Proficiency course. I’m working on the outline and I want to gather your input and most important questions. Here are some of the sections and topics I have so far. 1. Tech stack 🔵 Deciding your tech stack for the long run with pros and cons. 2. Team Management 🔵 Tools needed. 🔵Standard operating procedures. 🔵Decision-making process and principles. 🔵Building trust within the team. 🔵What things you cannot “learn” from a course? 3. Content (mostly content team) 🔵Possible writer roles for one newsletter. 🔵How to find writers. 🔵Our standard interview process for writers. 🔵First 2 weeks of working with us. 4. Growth 🔵How to find a growth person (and why you don’t need a growth team most likely) 🔵Automations for growth and list cleaning. 🔵Custom email validation and why it’s important for growth 🔵Dangers of bots, how to identify them, and how to exclude them 🔵Pros and cons of multiple newsletters 5. Monetization and ad ops 🔵How to find account managers (and why I think the founder is still the best fit for this role) 🔵Type of sponsors 🔵How to manage each type of sponsors 🔵Documents you’ll need for a smoother process for each type of sponsor 🔵Automations for streamlining sponsor workflow 🔵Soft skills that can help with sponsors This is what the outline looks like right now. ❓ Question for you: what else would you like me to add to the outline? Your input would be extremely helpful here.

Content Strategist & Writer | Helping B2B SaaS brands build a content engine that generates product sign-ups and demos through original research
I’m finally doing it 👀 I’m starting a newsletter (after spending the last year thinking about it 😆). I’ve worked in the B2B SaaS space for almost 4 years. I’ve seen how early-stage startups AND large enterprises run their content programs. I’ve also seen trends come and go while thousands of “gurus” peddle random tactics with no proof to back it up. But when you peek behind the curtains, you're left with more questions than answers. → Who used this tactic? → What was the tangible benefit? → Why was this tactic a fit for their business? None of these folks answer these questions—leaving you to figure out the rest. Every content-related decision is highly specific to a company’s growth goals, business strategy, and stage. But we often overlook this when discussing what works and what doesn’t. That’s why I started The Content Loop ♾️. I want to show you how B2B SaaS companies actually build and run their content programs. Here’s what you can expect: → Interviews with smart B2B SaaS marketing leaders → Content strategies and tactics that are working right now → Real examples from companies that treat content as a product—not a commodity That said, I don’t want this to be yet another newsletter in your inbox that doesn’t help you reach your marketing goals. I want this to help you: → Uncover how marketing leaders think and “do” content → Be more intentional with your content efforts → Actually make you think about how you’re running your program So, if you’re a B2B SaaS marketer, this newsletter is for you. Subscribe to The Content Loop using the link under my name ↖️ The first issue goes out on 20th September (next Friday!).
