Does anyone else think that the FIA should introduce a mandated 1 hour window at the end of every remaining afternoon Pre-Season Testing session where all the teams have to run Quali fuel loads, engine modes and C4s for at least 3 flying laps so that we can give the Constructors’ and Driver’s championships to Red Bull and Max Verstappen already and skip to 2025? Jokes aside, should F1 strike to make testing more exciting for newer fans with laptimes that are more ‘representative’ and ‘relevant’ or should the good old charm of ‘sandbagging’ be retained? #f1testing #bahraintest #formula1 #f1

How F1 stops BILLIONAIRES from joining 🤔 Formula 1 is protected by what's called a super license. Check out the full video on my YouTube channel. Racing has a lot to do with funds. If you had 40 crores lying around, some basic driver requirements could allow you to compete in Formula 2. It's a junior series just one step below Formula 1. A super license is what's stopping just anybody with funds from stepping into Formula 1. First you need to tick all these boxes. (Add a list of all the different points) Next, you need to collect what's called super points. Championships offer super points based on where you finish in the season. Here's a list for various championships and the points you'd get. You need 40 super points in just 3 years. If you collect 10 points each in year 1, year 2, and year 3, at the beginning of year 4, you lose the first year's points. And so you'll need to collect those points again. Once you collect 40 points, you attain a super license, and you're eligible to race in F1. But there isn't any guarantee that you'd get a seat. If more than 3 seasons pass without you being part of F1, you will lose your super license. Felipe Drugovich won the F2 title in 2022, giving him enough super points. But he's still not in F1, and if he fails to get a drive in 2025, he may lose his Superlicense. Check out my YouTube channel for the full video👇🏻 https://lnkd.in/gq4VSkk4

🏁 What Happens When Two F1 Drivers Set the Same Time in Qualifying? 🏁 Ever wondered what happens if two drivers clock the same time in F1 qualifying? 🤔 According to Article 39.4(iv) of the FIA F1 Sporting Regulations: "If two or more drivers set identical times during Q1, Q2, or Q3 or SQ1, SQ2, or SQ3, priority will be given to the driver who set it first." In simpler terms, the driver who sets the time first gets the higher grid position. 📈 This weekend, we witnessed an exciting example of this rule in action! Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology) and George Russell (Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team) both recorded a 1:12.000s lap time during qualifying in Canada. Russell set the fastest time first, earning him the priority despite Verstappen matching his time. 🇨🇦🏎️ This rare occurrence reminded us of the 1997 European GP, where Michael Schumacher, Jacques Villeneuve, and Heinz-Harald Frentzen all set identical qualifying times of 1:21.072. Villeneuve, who set the time first, took pole position and went on to win the world championship the next day amid a famous controversy with Schumacher. 🏆 F1 qualifying has certainly evolved since then, but the excitement and drama remain unchanged! #MotorsportHistory #F1 #QualifyingDrama #Verstappen #Russell #RacingFacts #PrecisionTiming #FIARegulations #Throwback 🔍 What do you think about this rule? Should it be changed or kept as it is? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Let make F1 great again: Few suggestion: 1. Qualifying: An F1 driver will have to use one soft tyre and do three fastest laps for qualifying. The average of the three laps will be the driver's qualifying lap and his grid position. 2. Tyre Changes: A team will have to use all three tyres - soft, medium and hard during the race. They can start the race with any compound they want and can even hide from their competitors which compound they are going to start the race with. For wet races this rule can be neglected. 3. Championship points: The points difference between 1 to last position should only be two points. The winner will get 25 points, the second driver will get 23 points and so on. #formula1 #MonacoGP #LewisHamilton
