Intelligent Infrastructure Economic Zones will touch the day-to-day life of our fellow citizens and are crucial to our country's overall competitiveness and prosperity. INTELLIGENT INFRASTRUCTURE supports broadband for all, intelligent transportation, spatial computing, Artificial Intelligence, and autonomous systems at the edge. Most important, it secures data for people, cities, and governments. Scaling these individual solutions has been a business model and investment challenge. The issue has always been who would underwrite the deployment and maintain the infrastructure! The same goes for supporting ITS for Vision Zero, or densified nodes for Broadband, or Edge compute for Spatial Computing. . . Over the last six years, collaboration with hundreds of industry partners, infrastructure investors, and government agencies has led to the development of the Intelligent Infrastructure Economic Zones business model. These zones will accelerate Broadband for All, M2M Wireless Networks, Drone-as-a-Service, digital twin-aaS, maintenance-aaS, AI-aaS, mobility-aaS, Industrial Edge Platform, delivery-aaS, freight-aaS, Sovereign Data Exchanges, Advanced Air Mobility, and more. They will also support Distributed Work Centers and Venture 2.0 Studios for innovation development. These zones will create new jobs and economic growth nationwide. 2moJeffrey DeCoux. .. in so many words and well-defined materials - the topic needs more wider education and awareness. Like the Hierarchy of Road/Rail coorrdor based development push since 1960s, the modern Intelligent Infrastrcture Network is key for the next phase of growth. It is not so much about having broad policies but to have clear Zoning, Plans, Designs and Industrial Node/Sub-Node based Infrastructure Network would be key for the long-term competitveness.
