If Lowe's Companies, Inc. wants to hire experienced CDL class A drivers, and keep them, work them 40+ hours and also expect them to load & unload the trailer, stock shelves, clean stores and assist with assist protection, then they need to pay more than $19.00 - $22.50 an hour. The commercial driving industry as a whole is one of the lowest paid skilled jobs in America. Truck drivers deserve a minimum of $30.00 per hour with applicable experience in my opinion. QUIT PAYING THE BARE MINIMUM! In the end, the quality of drivers you receive will depend on how they are treated, and most importantly, how well they are paid.
