Position Objective: The goal of the Sales Champion is to increase the overall performance of the sales team by giving sales supervisors and agents the right tools, skills, and knowledge they need to be successful. Through identifying issues with current processes, training and development needs, and implementing improvements as needed. The Sales Champion is responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of the sales program, which in turn promotes overall sales satisfaction. The Sales Champion will guide the sales supervisors and teams to improve their skills and motivate them to deliver quality performance. You should be knowledgeable of our sales processes, KPI expectations, and various sales techniques and have excellent organizational and communication skills. Duties/Responsibilities • Monitor the performance of sales supervisors, sales agents, and identify areas of improvement. • Collaborate with leadership on all levels. • Develop a relationship with leadership and the sales teams that make it easy to communicate ideas and issues they are facing. • Set learning objectives for the team. • Develop supervisor, team, and agent individual coaching plans. • Develop learning material for the sales teams. • Design training courses, coaching sessions, and other role-playing activities. • Establish training needs by observing tri-levels with sales supervisors and agents. • Be fluent and knowledgeable with reports and sales performance by team and agent. • Collect feedback regarding current and necessary training programs. • Prepare and present reports as requested to leadership. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, or related field and or 1-2 years of work experience as a sales coach, sales trainer, floor support, or related position. Excellent customer service and time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to design effective training programs. Outstanding coaching skills. Great organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to measure performance. Experience with building and developing high performance for self/teams. Strong knowledge of the sales process and its best practices. Familiarity with high-performance management methods. Excellent presentation and coaching skills. Strong leadership and management skills.
