#Innovation is a topic close to my heart and kudos to #CII for maintaining emphasis on this topic and getting experts to bear on the subject, with a focus on Start Ups and sustainability A few conclusions from the panel 1. There is no vaccine for sustainability but there is cash to be had from trash 2. Organizations need to drill down sustainability into everyone's KRA 3. Deep tech is a subject matter of 5-10 years of many failures, which propel you to success. This requires patient capital and Start Ups with purpose, passion and perseverance to come together with principled organizations 4. Aggregation possibilities to connect waste from different industries to help circular economy is an opportunity 5. Similarly, B2B Supply Chain based startups are a virgin opportunity in India 6. Failure rates in Start Ups continues to be high, so filtering and expectation setting against the right use cases are key 7. Inspite of all the talk around funding winter, the right ideas at the right time seldom suffer from want of capital 8. The approach to sustainability has to be IP based , else the Start Ups will not be sustainable 9. The govt has created a number of forums to bring stakeholders together on sustainability but a network like ONDC would help in this area #tatasteel #startups
