If you're currently hiring, my guess is that you're going to get a pretty high level of engagement and interest from candidates. Don't take it for granted and don't take the p*ss with it. Yes - you can probably take a little bit longer to move candidates through your process Yes - you can probably afford to explore more candidates Yes - you can probably be more picky and specific with what you want But, candidate experience is important. Candidates don't forget if their experience interviewing for your company was poor. Candidates talk......a lot. Don't damage your professional reputation by treating them poorly just because you have the luxury of choice.

My favorite part of recruiting is witnessing the success of the people I hire. It's amazing to see them grow and lead within their companies, achieving higher successes every day. In my opinion, nothing beats the joy of connecting talented individuals with opportunities to learn, grow, and dominate in their careers. Also the friendships I've created along the way, is the icing on the cake! #recruiting #success #growth #leadership

I complete agree with you. Why would companies not invest their time into ensuring that the people they hire are receiving the proper training to effectively do their jobs? I keep hearing companies emphasize employee accountability, but how do you accomplish that if companies do not value the people who are essentially the backbone and engine that keeps corporations lucrative and prosperous? Employers, please let's do better in hiring people with the intent for them to thrive, not fail because of the lack of support from their superiors.
