With all due respect Mark, this is an employer's market and the days of posting and getting a flood of applicants is alive and well! The layoffs in the world of Biotech here in Massachusetts is above norms and not expected to lessen in the near future. That does not mean I don't agree with your remaining post but anyone who has been laid off recently, and there are thousands can tell you how tough it is to get an interview :-).
