When you hire remote, it’s a whole different breed of person you’re looking for. At the end of the day, I’m not employing somebody just because they’ve got a certain skill set. I'm employing somebody because of: - who they are - what they're about - what they stand for - their enthusiasm - their drive - their discipline. The philosophy behind what we're doing now with @the-imagination-collaborative is that we’re bringing together some of the best minds from around the world to create what we believe is the greatest technology advancement in the event planning space since the wheel. And we need to get the best talent from each individual sector we're working in. So remote is the only way to go for us right now. If we opened a local office in Sydney for example, we wouldn't be getting the best minds from around the world. We'd be getting the best minds in Sydney that were available at the time. And that pool is pretty small. It's a global marketplace, so why would we limit ourselves?
