United States-based data analytics and cloud software solutions provider Axtria Inc is planning to hire 1,000 people annually in India over the next three years, according to President and CEO Jaswinder Chadha, Swati Bharadwaj reports for The Times of India. The company recently opened a new global innovation and capability centre in Hyderabad, and has offices in Gurugram, Noida, Bengaluru, and Pune. Around 70% of its global headcount of 3,500 employees are currently based in India, the report says. Last year, Axtria Inc hired around 700 people, including freshers and professionals for data engineering, software development, and data science roles. The New Jersey-headquartered company’s workforce of engineers, data scientists, product managers and domain experts are engaged in serving clients in the life sciences industry, the report adds.
