Icon of the Seas cruise ship is going to be quite expensive to sail on for the next year. It’s definitely something that needs to be booked ahead of time as everyone wants to try out this new humongous ship It sells out so quickly! The question is: is it worth it? In my opinion, there are a ton of absolutely amazing ships out there that can give a very similar experience. if you’re a first time cruiser, I don’t think it is crucial to get on the icon. however, if you have cruised on most ships out there and want a taste of something special, then I would definitely save up money for the Icon. Royal Caribbean has truly improved this ship. it felt like the cruise line took every complaint in the book and corrected it in the icon of the seas! Have you sailed on the Icon yet?
