I’ve just hosted a round table with these lovely ladies (and two other lovely ladies who dialled in virtually from regional offices) who are some of the emerging managers at Oakleaf Partnership. The topic of discussion was interviewing recruiters.
Understanding their key hires now and anticipating an uplift in hiring as the market continues to grow, Oakleaf wanted their managers to reflect on and refine their interview structures if needed.
Together, we discussed:
- Planning for these hires and identifying what needs to be in place for the interviews to be effective.
- Enhancing the candidate experience and sharing ideas on what candidates look for during the process.
- Assessing character, skills, and drives to ensure they know who they are hiring and how they can support their career growth both immediately and in the long term.
