Drinking just a little bit less has so many benefits. Maybe you’re aiming to keep under the driving limit. Maybe you’d like to also have a good day tomorrow. Maybe you would just like to clearly articulate that funny comeback. Make cutting down interesting by creating your own mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails) or discovering new low alcohol craft beers and tea coolers. #TuesdayTips #SmartDrinking

New bourbon released by Smashing Pumpkins that's mixed with black tea? Man, this might be one of the few times I'm sad about not drinking alcohol! Smashing Pumpkins just released a bourbon that's cut to proof with black tea instead of water. Said tea comes from the tea shop owned by Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan and his wife. Not only does the flavor profile sound very complex, the packaging design is breathtaking. 😱 The master distiller stated their love for the Smashing Pumpkins' rich and symphonic sound was the main driver for the flavor combination. They wanted to, essentially, recreate the listening experience in taste form. 🎸 Now THAT'S what I call art. I know the word 'experience' has become generic in marketing, but these people know exactly what that entails. Good god, I've barely recovered from Green Day releasing a coffee line-up. This is way too much goodness for my 90's rock-loving heart. I'm going to go listen to 'Tonight, Tonight' and remind myself I'm quitting alcohol. #alcohol #alcoholicbeverages #alcoholindustry #bourbon #alcoholmarketing #packagingdesign #beverageindustry #foodandbeverageindustry

Can an opened bottle of whisky go bad ? 🥃 It is a common assumption that distilled spirits do not go bad like wine, which converts into vinegar in a short span of time due to exposure to oxygen. However, exposure to oxygen, light and fluctuations in temperature can ruin your whisky in the long run. Over a period of time, oxidation can cause the whisky to lose its complex flavours and taste stale. Don't believe us? Then pour yourself two drinks- one from a whisky that you opened months ago and one from a new bottle of the same whisky. You'll notice the difference in their taste for sure. Here's to store an opened whisky bottle: Store your whisky in a sealed container to avoid exposure to oxygen. Alternatively, you can swap the cork for a bottle cap and secure it tightly. If your whisky is below the half-level mark, you can also shift it to a smaller bottle with a tight cap to reduce interaction with oxygen. Also, keep your opened bottle in a cool, dark and dry place. And lastly, finish the bottle as soon as possible. Share your favourite bottle of whisky with your friends to have a more enjoyable experience while drinking responsibly. Share this video with your whisky-loving buddies so that they can take better care of their priced whisky bottles. Cheers! #sonalholland #masterofwine #whisky #whiskytips #alcoholtips #wineexpert

While we’re all recovering from the excitement and savoring the throwback vibes of yesterday‘s game, let’s take a moment to ponder - was your game day drink the same as a few years (or even decades) ago? 1970s-1990s: The Classic Cheers Grabbing a cold beer during the game was almost a reflex, and the occasional cocktail for a halftime twist. Simple, classic, it was all about rooting for your team with a familiar drink in hand. 2000s-2020s: A Diverse Flavor Field Fast forward to the new millennium, and the field changed. With a wider audience tuning in (especially this year🎤), our drink choices become as diverse as our halftime show debates. We now have craft beers, hard seltzers, wines, lows and nos, and even health-focused drinks joining the party. Do you have the next best go-to drink idea for the next Super Bowl? #inspiration for the #icecream industry: While I would argue that many of the products listed remain relevant today, others felt more like a blast from the past.
