For past few months I had been thinking about doing something new to make a wider impact. Last year I took a short break to gather thoughts and met many leaders to discuss possibilities. Meeting Neeraj at Avegen was one of those. He passionately showed me how Avegen is helping 1.9 Million patients worldwide. Later meeting Dr. Nayan, I understood his ambitious vision of empowering patients and met mighty Avegeners Jeremy, Saurabh, Milind and many more focused on making it real. When I came across Nandan's interview conducted by none other than LinkedIn CEO Ryan. I really loved what he shared. I decided to implement: 1. Get out of comfort zone: not joining another large system integrator 2. Set ambitious goals: Targeting doubling our footprint every year at Avegen 3. Be curious and open to learning: while I have worked with AstraZeneca and Novartis, I am really curious and need to learn a lot about digital healthcare As well said by him, it's all about getting people around us fully motivated and charged to achieve goals. While my learnings from Infosys, Patni Computer Systems Ltd (now Capgemini), Satyam Computer Services Ltd (now Tech Mahindra), INFONOX SOFTWARE PRIVATE LIMITED and my first love Godrej Infotech Ltd. will come handy, I will need much more.
