Happy 4th of July from all of us at Avery's House! Today, as we celebrate the spirit of freedom and independence, we are reminded of the importance of nurturing a community where every teen feels free to express themselves, seek help, and find the support they need to thrive. On this day of reflection and celebration, let's renew our commitment to fostering an environment that upholds the mental health and well-being of our youth. Freedom also means breaking away from stigmas, creating open dialogues about mental health, and ensuring that our future leaders have the resilience and support to pursue their dreams. Let's continue to work together to build a stronger, healthier community, where independence includes the liberty to live without the barriers of mental health challenges. 🌟 #IndependenceDay #MentalHealthAwareness #CommunitySupport #AverysHouse

At Finnastra, we believe in more than just numbers on a bill. We believe in supporting the holistic well-being of every child, especially when it comes to mental health. That's why we're proud to echo the sentiment: 'Let's teach our children that it's okay not to be okay sometimes, and that seeking help is a sign of courage, not weakness. Together, let's break down the barriers to mental health acceptance. Let's teach our children the value of seeking help when they need it and create a community where support is readily available. Because when we support children's mental health, we're investing in a brighter, healthier future for everyone. Join us in advocating for children's mental health acceptance. Together, we can make a difference. #ChildrensMentalHealth #MentalHealthAcceptance #MedicalBilling #SupportingWellness #CommunitySupport #InvestingInHealth #BreakDownBarriers

Seeing the impact of comprehensive reentry programs firsthand, such as those implemented by our grantee, The First 72+, has reaffirmed my belief in the power of holistic support systems. These initiatives focus on skill development, mental health, and community integration, demonstrating that with the right tools, people can thrive. This is a vivid reminder of how our approach to supporting people in communities can have profound, life-altering effects. #CriminalJusticeReform #Rehabilitation

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a vital time to recognize the importance of mental health in our lives and communities. NAHSE supports the movement to end stigma, extend support, and advocate for policies prioritizing mental well-being. According to NAMI, 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness yearly, with significant impacts on youth as well. Black Americans face unique challenges, including systemic barriers to care and higher rates of serious mental health issues. As health services executives, we must lead by example, advocating for mental health awareness and support. Let’s use this month to educate, inspire, and promote mental well-being for all. Together, we can make a difference. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #NAHSEIndy #EndTheStigma #SupportMentalHealth #CommunityCare

Connection is a powerful force for well-being, serving as a vital shield against mental health challenges at every age. From simple conversations to shared experiences, each interaction acts as a lifeline for children navigating their emotional landscapes. Swipe to explore some easy ways to foster these meaningful connections. While these acts may seem small individually, collectively, they form a robust support network. By understanding and prioritising connection, we can build resilience, break stigma, and create a world where every child's mental health is nurtured. 💚🌈 Although these tips benefit all ages, adopting these habits as adults allow us to model the importance of healthy connections to the children in our lives. As we create an open, non-judgmental space for children to share, we not only raise awareness but also break down stigma, ensuring every child feels heard and supported.💙 . . . . . . #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek #ConnectionMatters #BeTheSupport #semh #mentalhealth #childrensmentalhealth #semhneeds #unlockingpotential
