"At first, I didn't want to come, but after I arrived and was in therapy for a couple of days, I realized the benefit. In the beginning, I was weak and lost a lot of strength. Now, as I'm leaving, I have regained strength. The therapists are all really nice and well-trained. I had an excellent experience and would recommend Lagniappe Healthcare Skilled Nursing Facility to anyone." #Healthcare #SynergyCareSuccess #OutcomesAreEverything #SynergyCares #LoveWhatYouDo #BetterOutcomes #SkilledNursingFacility #LongTermCare #AssistedLiving #SeniorLiving #IndependentLiving #MemoryCare Read about what Synergy Care means to incredible therapists and check out the open positions at https://lnkd.in/eE8CvyJZ

Secondary and tertiary care the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses are the most common services. Restorative care helps individuals regain maximal functional status and enhance their quality of life. Continuing care is for those who cannot take care of themselves, and the need is continuously growing. Multiple settings means multiple types of providers. Medical Science Liason (Southern Africa)| Public Health Specialist | Thought Leader | Masters in Public Health (MPH) | Executive MBA (USA) | Speaker |
I believe that one reason why some men prefer seeking medical care in hospitals rather than primary healthcare facilities is because the latter is often perceived as femicentric. While I commend our nursing colleagues for their exceptional work in these settings, the fact that nearly 90% of the nursing workforce is female may pose a barrier for men in accessing healthcare. How can we address this issue and make primary healthcare more inclusive for all individuals? In the below radio interview, I answered some of the burning questions on mens health #Healthcare #GenderDisparities #PublicHealth

--Hi everyone, I’m looking for a role as a Licensed Nursing Home/Assisted living Administrator/CAH Hospital CEO. Tyran.adams.mha@gmail.com 712-330-1000
New Administators: If you’re considering going into nursing home administration and you’re considering getting your bachelors for healthcare administration one thing I wish I would’ve done was also get another major or a minor in behavioral health and social work. All of these things go hand-in-hand nowadays and you should also get Board certified in these in your state because we all know how unstable Nursing Home administrator work can be. This kind of experience will marry well in behavioral health hospitals and social worker positions. We have to keep our revenue streams, active too.

A compelling new study by the California Health Care Foundation and Healthforce Center at UCSF underscores the pivotal role of Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in addressing healthcare gaps across California. As the largest group of non-physician primary care providers, NPs are making significant strides in filling critical voids in primary care and behavioral health services, serving underserved communities and providing culturally competent care to diverse populations. This report not only highlights the invaluable contributions of NPs but also emphasizes the need for continued support and empowerment of these healthcare leaders. #NursePractitioners #HealthcareAccess #PrimaryCare #HealthcarePolicy #NursingLeadership #HealthEquity California Health Care Foundation, Healthforce Center at UCSF, CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF NURSE PRACTITIONERS CANP
