Speed Tape uma Fita Mágica #Repost @stigaviation —— Speed tape… once and for all I’m squashing this topic. If you ever see any silly videos online send them this. Every aircraft mechanic/engineer knows this and we use this speed tape all the time. Approved by the FAA EASA DCGA and every other aviation organization as well as the manufacturers. We follow strict instructions and guidelines to inspect the damage. Afterwards we speak maintenance control or engineering departments to approve the temporary repairs. Once said and done the repairs are temporary… once we have sufficient time on ground and parts.. the components will be fixed. FYI these are not safety of flight items, if they were you wouldn’t be flying… aircraft would be grounded. So next time you see this out your window… don’t panic … instead be at peace knowing aircraft maintenance is doing their job to keep you airworthy and safe.
