Pareto Principle The 80/20 Rule Pareto was an Italian economist who helped develop modern economics as we know it today. The Pareto principle, also known as the 80/20 rule, 80% of outcomes often come from 20% of the related inputs. So that if you have an aim, thinking 20% of the time put doing 80% of the time.

Robotron Dresden - vocational retraining as Industrial Management Assistent (Umschulung zum Industriekaufmann)
How to act in crisis? Ofcourse, these two theories are far more complex than it is presented in these videos. We have to do far more readings in order to understand them as good as possible. Therefore, it is just something to think about and to think further and more differentiated. “The ideas of economist and political philosophers both when they are right and when they are wrong are more powerful than is commonly understood. Indeed, the world is ruled by little else. Practical men, who believe themselves to be quite exempt from any interlectual influence are usally the slaves of some defunct economist.“ (John Maynard Keynes, The General Theory. 1936.) https://lnkd.in/eb7ga4By (‘Keynesian Economics‘) https://lnkd.in/efusgRXs (‘Multiplier Effect‘) “The curious task of economics is to demonstrate to men how little they really know about what they imagine they can design.“ (Friedrich August Hayek, The Fatal Conceit: The Errors of Socialism. 1988, p. 76.) https://lnkd.in/edGxw85z... "The first economist who didn't put me to sleep" || Data storyteller || Finding actionable insights in a sea of noise
While much of the focus (outside of politics today) in the economic data was PCE inflation coming in flat m/m, one of the best pieces of news was strong income growth m/m in May. Private sector employment income rose by $83B from April to May and overall income was up 0.5% Great news. Combined with flat inflation this meant more buying power for consumers. Flat inflation in the Fed’s core metric increases the odds of a September rate cut.
The The Wall Street Journal has featured insights from our Director of Economics Ian Wyatt about a key Fed inflation measure and what it’s telling us now.
