📉 Czech Airlines' last flight: End of an era in the skies ✈️🇨🇿 This Saturday, Czech Airlines (ČSA), the fifth oldest airline in the world, makes its last flight from Prague to Paris, concluding a 101-year history. Founded in 1923, ČSA became a national aviation symbol of the Czech Republic, accompanying the country's history throughout its century of existence. From its beginnings as the state airline of Czechoslovakia, it operated pioneering flights and maintained its identity even during the communist era and political changes in Central Europe. ČSA's demise comes against a backdrop of financial decline and changes in the industry, where low-cost airlines have dominated the market. Although its logo will continue to adorn some Smartwings aircraft, the iconic “OK” from its IATA code will be used for the last time this Saturday.
