I’m happy to share that Merck Life Science is teaming up with industry partners to form a new life science association in Europe. Together, we launched the new Life Science Manufacturers Association (LSMA) with the goal of highlighting life science topics important for both our customers and the patients they serve, and the important role the life science value chain plays in both ensuring a safe and resilient supply chain of medicines, and enabling innovation and new therapies. We are looking forward to expanding our membership, adding more member companies to ensure the life sciences are well represented in important policy discussions in Brussels and beyond.

A groundbreaking study on extracellular vesicles (EVs) in high-viscosity formulations has just been published! 🎉 The research introduces a novel methodology combining nanoparticle tracking analysis and nanorheology using Interferometric Light Microscopy (ILM) - Videodrop The Videodrop based analysis enables to : 1) Measure the #viscosity at the nanoscale for Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids via calibration beads; 2) Analyze data to determine the size distribution of Extracellular Vesicles in non-Newtonian complex fluid such as poloxamer formulation, 3) Analyze the interactions of Extracellular Vesicles with poloxamer-407.
