Here are 4 social media posting don'ts: ❌ Don't overpost: Avoid flooding your followers' feeds with too many posts in a short amount of time. ❌ Don't be too promotional: Refrain from making every post a sales pitch. Mix it up with valuable content, engaging questions, and behind-the-scenes insights. ❌ Don't ignore engagement: Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner. You don’t want your followers losing interest… ❌ Don't post low-quality content: Avoid sharing blurry images, poorly written posts, or irrelevant information. You have to stop putting social media on the back burner✋🏼 I know you’ve heard the term “First impressions matter” The same can be said for your social media📲 When you post a random picture from your camera roll at the end of the day when your brain is completely tired from working in your business, it’s not doing what you think it is. Chances are you’re not posting content that will bring entertainment, value, or interest from your target audience… in fact, you’re probably just posting to say you posted for the day.✔️ And I'm sure those posts are only getting a few likes each time you post them😩 But what’s happening is you’re throwing a bunch of content out there that people will come across and it may not be making the best first impression. When a random person lands on your page and starts scrolling through your posts it’s important that those posts are good quality and speak to the people that land on your page and inform them about what you do, who you service, or your industry. If your content isn't doing any of those things or visually appealing they’re gonna keep scrolling until they find someone in your industry whose content does speak to them. That's why I have content creation as a part of my social media management services.😍 I know that having success on social media is much more than just knowing how to write good copy or knowing the right times of day to post. It’s about having the right skills and knowledge in marketing, sales, and creativity together that makes a huge impact on businesses.💸 I've worked with over 30 different businesses across 14 industries and helped them stop mindlessly posting on social media and completely transform their accounts in as little as 90 days.👏🏼 My clients go from frustrated, stressed, and burnt out with social media to having as much as 10 hours a week added back to their time and they don't have to think about social media AT ALL… Wouldn't that be nice?🤔 DM me "social" for more info👀 #socialmediamanager #greenvillesc #charlottebusinessowner #womenownedbusiness #gvltoday

Social media used to overwhelm me. After nearly 20 years in the field, I felt burned out—especially when I started doing it for my own business. But I found a way to simplify the process, and it changed everything. Here’s how I make social media easy—and how you can too: 1. Connect your WHY: Approach social media with purpose. When it aligns with your goals, it becomes fulfilling instead of draining 2. Get support: It’s hard to see your own marketing clearly. Having help lets you focus on your strengths. 3. Have a strategy: A simple checklist keeps you on track. No more overthinking 4. Stay authentic: Create content that feels natural. You will NEVER see me lip-syncing. Do you! 5. Understand the platform: Learn the algorithms, how to go viral, and how to attract the right clients. Confidence comes with knowledge and clarity. When you approach social media this way, it’s no longer overwhelming. Instead, it becomes intentional, effective, and aligned with your values. If you want to make social media easier, I’d love to share the rest of my checklist—it’s the same one I use to streamline and spend way less time on content creation too. Chat me if you are interested in talking more!

Do you also think IG is the only place for your brand? Think again! Social media gets all the attention but here’s the reality: newsletters are where the real connection happens. Think about it: on social platforms, your post is competing with cat videos, memes, and every other brand under the sun. But a newsletter? It’s an intentional space where your voice is heard without distractions. Here’s why newsletters outshine social media: >Control: You’re not at the mercy of ever-changing algorithms. >Focus: It’s one-on-one communication with your audience. >Loyalty: Subscribers are there because they want to hear from you. Social media is great for visibility, but newsletters are where you build deeper connections. It’s like sitting down for coffee with someone who genuinely wants to know your story. If you’ve been relying solely on social media, it’s time to expand your strategy. Let’s work together to create newsletters that amplify your brand and build long-term relationships. #NewsletterWriting #EmailMarketingTips #ContentWriting #CopywritingTips #NewsletterStrategy #MarketingCopywriter #EmailEngagement #InboxMarketing

🗣️ Calls-to-Action that Actually Get Clicks 💥 Dial in your social media marketing strategy with CTAs with a little bit more to say than "Learn More". Here’s how LAICOS Social Media Management makes a connection with your audience to garner more clicks, swipes, and shares: 1. 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘜𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺 🔥 Stoke the FOMO flames by using phrases like “exclusive presses” and “limited time only” to let 'em know that they’re about to miss out on something good. 2. 𝘜𝘴𝘦 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘨𝘦 💬 We know... you gots manners and such. But you can forget the fluff when you're slingin' your stuff. CTAs like “DM us NOW,” “Get Yours Today,” and “Drop a Comment” work well because followers tend to respond more often when you tell them exactly what to do. 3. 𝘜𝘴𝘦 𝘝𝘪𝘴𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘶𝘦𝘴 & 𝘌𝘮𝘰𝘫𝘪𝘴 👀 We’re all about making your message ring. Whether it’s arrows, swipe-up cues, or an emoji that fits the company branding, we're always finding new ways to catch a pair of eyes. 4. 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦 💸 “Get 10% off now,” “Unlock VIP access,” “Download the free guide”—give them a reason to take action. Their time is worth money, too! 5. 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮-𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘊𝘛𝘈𝘴 📱 “Shop Now” for IG and Facebook, “Sign Up Here” on LinkedIn, and “Leave a Review” on Google. Each platform needs a CTA that fits. Ready to stop the scroll and get them hooked? Social media can feel overwhelming. You’re showing up, putting in the work, even trying new things—and yet, it feels like you’re spinning your wheels. Here’s the thing: without a strategy, you’re just winging it. And winging it only works for so long. Strategy isn’t about overcomplicating things or spending hours on a content calendar. It’s about creating intentional content that aligns with your goals and speaks directly to the right people. When you’re operating without a plan, you might find yourself posting inconsistently, pouring time into content that doesn’t drive results, or missing opportunities to connect with your ideal audience. But with a clear strategy in place, everything shifts. You know who you’re talking to, why they need your content, and how each post fits into your larger goals. It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing it better. Take a moment to reflect on your own social media: Are your posts leading to real connections or conversations? Do you know who you’re trying to reach—and why they’d choose you? Are you creating content with purpose—or just staying visible? If those questions feel tricky, that’s okay. Strategy is a process, and clarity doesn’t come all at once. Start small. Pick one goal for your social media this month—whether it’s building authority, driving engagement, or simply feeling more in control—and reverse-engineer your content from there. Social media isn’t about chasing trends or “just posting.” It’s about showing up with intention and making every effort count. What’s one thing you wish your social media could do for you this year? I’d love to hear your thoughts below. #socialmediamarketing #socialmediastrategy
