The business case for investing in “start-early” youth employment programs is clear: a new report from Holland Bloorview and the Ontario Disability Employment Network (ODEN) (with Chronicle Analytics) shows a small public investment of $16K per young person could result in a 600% return on investment for government. “This report highlights the need, and opportunity, to invest in youth with disabilities, enabling them to access the essential services and programs that supports them in developing their career,” says Carolyn McDougall, manager, employment pathways, Holland Bloorview and report co-author.
