So much has been happening at DreamTeam these past few weeks The team’s growing fast, our developers are dropping new features left and right, and we’re reaching new highs 🚀 Working in a company like DreamTeam—an Israeli startup—every second counts. Hunger, adaptation, innovation, and resilience are key qualities needed to push repeated success when the framework for it is being built before our eyes. Everyday I get to hone these qualities with Noah Marks, Yuval Sidis, Alon Lesman, and Shiri Ruimi. Awesome getting to work alongside this fierce team 🔥 Each week’s success can be next week’s failure. Hence, why we show up early and leave late. Pivot on the spot. And test everything. Sure, “the process” this past month and a half has been a bumpy one. But what I remind myself everyday, is that all of my incredibly talented DreamTeam-mates, vetted and new, didn’t see their success overnight. They stayed hungry, adapted daily, innovated everything, and it’s a given this couldn’t be done without a shared resilience. :)

Today marks the first month of me joining…. soon to be revealed 🙂 I’ve been on the startup train a few times, but boarding this one feels incredibly different, and in a good way. Why? 1. People. All the folks I work with are what I consider triple threats: kind, intelligent, and humble. They make it comfortable for me to ask questions and add my two cents - without worrying about sounding “dumb”. 2. Product. It’s so exciting to witness going from nothing to something every day. Even more so, is watching the team make quick decisions, commit to improvements, and willingness to support each other. 3. Process. We are building those out as we speak! Everyone's input is taken into account, and we discuss test, and ensure they align with our culture. What's next? I'm hoping I can share more here on LinkedIn! Give me a 👍 if you think that's a good idea.

Celebrate the little wins and build momentum. When I was running my startup, we made a big deal of celebrating milestones, big or small. 🎉 Every new client onboarded 📦 The launch of a new product line 🏆 Even hitting monthly targets We'd gather, share stories, and reflect on our progress. It wasn't about the cake (though that was a plus!). It was about recognizing hard work and feeling valued. These moments recharged our energy and refocused our drive. Celebrating milestones can: • Boost team morale - People feel seen and appreciated. • Foster a sense of accomplishment - Keeps the team motivated. • Drive further success - Builds momentum for the next goal. I remember one instance vividly. We landed a challenging client we'd been pursuing for over six months. It was a team effort. That celebration wasn't just a pat on the back; it was fuel for the next project. It reminded us of our capabilities. So, whether you're hitting major targets or small stepping stones, celebrate. It might seem trivial, but it creates a culture of appreciation and motivation. It's like pausing to catch your breath and then running faster. Small celebrations can lead to big success. Trust me, it's worth it.

"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson 2024 is the start of a new chapter for me: my almost 11-year-long journey at Techstars is over. I'm stepping into this new phase with a heart full of gratitude and excitement for what it is to come. 🚀 A journey of growth: What a ride it's been. From joining a team of less than 20 people to being part of a global force of hundreds of employees, operating in over 130 countries. We've navigated the highs and lows - from layoffs to acquisitions - and expanded our reach, touching the lives of countless founders and community leaders almost everywhere in the world. It's been an absolute privilege. The journey from those early days to now, the constant change, all the people I’ve met and all the countries I worked with have played a key role in what I’ve become as a person. 🌍 Gratitude and pride: The privilege of contributing to something as impactful as Techstars, alongside the most dedicated colleagues and a vibrant global community, fills me with immense pride and gratitude. 🔮 Looking ahead: As I embark on this new phase, I carry with me a burning desire to continue making a global impact. Inspired by a wise friend, I aim to channel energy not just outward in building something big but also inward, nurturing my growth as a human being, a father, a husband, a son, a friend. 🙏 The list of people to thank is endless. Too many. But I’d like to specially mention: - To the Techstars, Techstars Startup Weekend, Startup Week and Startup Digest Community: I was, I am and I will always be one of yours. I’ve done my best carrying your flag and what a privilege it has been. - To everyone that has been part of the Community team over the years. What an immense pool of talent. - To the three people that gave me this life-changing opportunity over a decade ago: Deborah Rippol, Marc Nager and Adam Stelle. GRACIAS. Here's to the next adventure! #GiveFirst

I left Uber in 2019, and since then, I've worked directly with Founders at a variety of early-stage start-ups. While I can't say that I know firsthand what being a Founder is like, I can confidently say that I have a genuine empathy and understanding of many of the challenges. Specifically, I've been a sounding board when it comes to organizational development (ie. what does our organization need, and what roles, people, and structure will solve for that), people and performance management processes, and how to build appropriate cultural norms and expectations into an early team. The challenge is that the fleshed out standards and processes of established companies are often not appropriate at the earliest stage, and striking the right balance of structured, yet lightweight and flexible, feels impossible. What's more is that these topics are often mentally heavy and feel distracting when the Founder wants to be laser focused on fundraising and "doing the work" of putting their vision into play. This is a topic I'm always interested in jamming on with other Founders across the industry and learning more about from diverse experiences - so if this resonates, let's chat!

Director Business Development @ 9T Labs | Eng., MBA | On a mission to advance high performance applications in a sustainable way.
🚀✨ Thrilled to Celebrate 4 Amazing Years at 9T Labs! 🎉 As I mark this milestone, I can't help but draw parallels between life in a startup and the grandeur of the Olympics. 🏆✨ 2024, an Olympic year with Paris as the backdrop, signifies not just the end of one cycle but the dawn of an exciting new one. In both arenas, be it the startup hustle or the pursuit of Olympic glory, high-performance is the heartbeat. Personally, it's about daring to dream, setting ambitious goals, and rallying with like-minded individuals—be they colleagues, suppliers, customers, investors, or ambassadors. For me, this journey has been a constant evolution—both for our organization and on a personal level. It's about learning, growing, and making a positive impact within our field of scope. The startup spirit mirrors the Olympic spirit in embracing challenges with resilience and striving for greatness. As I celebrate this anniversary, I look forward to stepping into tomorrow with the same enthusiasm as if it were the first day. Here's to more milestones, more challenges, and more victories on the horizon! 🌟🚀 #4YearsAt9TLabs #StartupJourney #OlympicSpirit #HighPerformanceCulture ✨

🛠️ Day 4, folks! Let's talk about building a startup from scratch. Imagine assembling a giant Lego set without the manual. That's startup life—thrilling, unpredictable, and creative. I started with a bold idea 💡, gathered a dream team 🤝, and dove right into the action. From securing funds to launching our first MVP, it felt like sprinting a marathon. Each day brought a new puzzle, but seeing our vision materialize bit by bit was beyond rewarding. Key takeaways? Resilience is crucial; iteration is your friend, and a great team makes all the difference. According to my wife, my posts should be as concise as my elevator pitches—so that’s it for today! Catch you tomorrow for more fun-sized insights! 😄
