📣 Another social shoutout so soon after my last one? You betcha. Shoutout to Alice Chen and the social team at Away for this genius and FAST execution. (Also — we loves to see the behind the scenes content) This post is only an HOUR old and has 100+ comments and is ALREADY performing around 3.5X AWAY’s UER vs. their most recent content posts. The secret sauce was that they acted FAST and didn’t overcomplicate it (+ smartly tagged CK in the comments). Have really enjoyed seeing the social content pivots from AWAY the past few months (to learn more, check their content on IG and TT a year ago and watch their evolution). This is the aWAY 😉.

One of my favorite aspects about Away’s brand is that their content looks EFFORTLESS. There’s a clear strategy, but instead of filling their content with brand elements and promotional content they appeal to the simple joys of life and travel, and that’s what many people are looking for in brands today. LOVE THIS.

Yeah I've noticed the content pivoting to Gen Z a lot, trying to do more meme-worthy stuff in short vertical formats. Interesting that the reach and engagement on this sort of hyper--Zoomer-friendly post remains way higher on the 'gram than the 'Tok, tho... Love this fastvertising. Huge fan of the away brand too. Bought mine 7 years ago and it’s survived 100+ business trips!
