✨ "Dare & Care" is at the heart of #AXA's people strategy, and the union of these two concepts constitutes one of the foundational elements of AXA's #culture. Last week, I had the opportunity to learn about the most representative and interesting daring stories that +50 people from the European Market implemented over the past year. Through this experience (thank you, AXA 🙏 ), I realized that: 1️⃣ Daring doesn't require huge investments but rather a new way of looking at things. Face-painter extraordinaire one minute, interviewing AXA Ireland's CEO and female board members the next... all in a morning's work! I’m always intrigued by the many hats we all wear, especially as I returned on Friday to wrap up AXA’s first female mentorship program. It was a privilege to sit down with AXA Ireland CEO Marguerite Brosnan and Board Members Caroline McDonnell and Rosemary Quinlan, who generously shared their insights, honesty, and hard-won lessons. Key takeaways that resonated with me: ⭐ Make time to pause. Sit, think, and reflect. ⭐ Embrace feedback, even when it’s tough. Be curious and dig deeper to understand others' perspectives. ⭐ Careers aren’t linear. Rejection, disappointment, and lateral moves can be just as valuable as upward progression. ⭐ Be generous with your time. Making time for others creates lasting impact. ⭐ Be present. When you're at home, BE at home. When you're at work be at work. So wonderful to see how Virgin Australia's partnership with What Ability has evolved. Most recently, the team welcomed five wonderful young people, their support workers, and two AFL stars to the Brisbane hangar to give them a behind-the-scenes tour and show them that anything is possible. What Ability also led a workshop to help the airline better understand the challenges faced by people with disabilities and sharing crucial insights. A wonderful partnership, and this video is fantastic.

10 years ago, Treble embarked on an unforgettable journey across the continent for DHL’s Africa as One campaign. Over the span of 11 months, our team travelled to 45 African countries, driving up to 14 hours a day, and executing events, charity initiatives, and rugby club visits in every city. The sheer magnitude of this project was life-changing, not just for me but for everyone involved.   Every day brought new challenges, but it was teamwork, resilience, and meticulous planning that saw us through. Looking back, I realize how much this journey shaped my approach to event management and leadership. It wasn’t just about logistics—it was about connecting with communities and delivering a global brand's vision across diverse cultures and landscapes.   Africa as One taught me that there’s no challenge too great. At Treble, we thrive on pushing boundaries and executing ambitious, complex campaigns. How much should we #rely on #family #support? Having a supportive family is a blessing and most of us #Emiratis are well supported well by our #families and our #government. The challenge is that we haven’t learned how to #leverage family support in the best possible way. I believe there should be a #balance between standing on your own feet, and also asking for help when you need it. Sometimes we rely on our families too much and don’t grow fast enough because we think they can always provide for us. At other times, we think because we are grown up adults, we shouldn’t ask for help anymore especially when are stuck #mentally, #emotionally, or #financially. Our #pride and #ego don’t allow us to ask our loved ones for #help. One of my mentors taught me a great lesson and he said, if you ever need help and support towards building a #successful life, you must always #ask your closest #family members and #friends #first because you want to give them a chance to be a part of your success. I never looked at it that way but now I have a different perspective about asking people for help. At Emirates Youth Leadership Program, one of the areas we focus on is #Financial #Literacy. & it's that time of the year again when hard-work is recognised and rewarded. Congratulations to all my friends and seniors for their indefatigable assiduity! Each collaboration has been an incredible learning experience. It's that time of the year when our CEO inspires us to reach our full potential amidst the grandeur of a royal event. My major takeaways are: 🏆This is my tribe, keep them close! A team that stays together, wins together. Long story short, it is imperative to be inclusive and bond genuinely to achieve success.
