If Jane Street can revolutionise the trading of credit ETFs, what does it tell you about the use of data in credit markets? Our answer is that traditionally credit data has been incomplete and dirty. This is even more the case in Europe, which does not benefit from TRACE. However, the question becomes, what can be achieved with more granular and clean data?
