Concerns about the so called "Safe Supply Drug" Program in BC: 1️⃣ Toxicity of unregulated drug market remains unaddressed. 2️⃣ Overdose deaths have not decreased, with 2,224 in BC in 2021. 3️⃣ Public safety is at risk with increased public drug use. 4️⃣ Lack of support services perpetuates addiction cycle. BC NDP/Liberal Premier David Eby's recent plans to recriminalize public drug use shows a shift in government stance. Due to his lack of support in the polls , his about face looks like its purely out of self interest & self preservation. Drastic measures for identifying & addressing root causes of addiction, ensuring public safety, and providing support services is needed. Let’s work together and oust the NDP/Liberal government coalition from BC and tell them NO MORE so called "Safe Supply" paid for by tax payers and recriminalize hard drugs. We need to tell the NDP/LIBERAL's to Stop poisoning our community, secondly stop acting like you didn't create the problem. Jagmeet Singh is POISONING our province and our country by supporting the Liberals. He can put a vote of no confidence at any given time, but instead he chooses to flood British Colombia with Hard Drugs to poison British Colombians.
MP for Carleton, Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, and running to be Prime Minister of Canada

On July 4th we celebrate the courage of those men and women who embraced the idea of freedom and indepedence and sacrificed much to earn it. It took over seven years from the time the Declaration of Independence was signed until the day the British surrendered, but those in the halls of Congress, and those who rallied behind such a powerful ideal didn't know how long the task would last. Today we are honored and inspired by those same "self- evident" truths to continue building a more perfect Union, no matter how long the task will take. Tomorrow marks the International Day of Peace 🕊️ This year, we celebrate its 25th anniversary under the theme "Cultivating a Culture of Peace." As UNESCO's Constitution reminds us, "wars begin in the minds of men, and it is in the minds of men that the defenses of peace must be constructed." emphasizing the vital role of education, starting with children and communities, in fostering peace. In times of heightened tensions, this day calls on us to put down our weapons and recognize the shared humanity in one another. ☮️ Discover more here: https://bit.ly/3hXkZ3k

"In our pursuit to fulfill the Great Commission, our eyes should remain fixed on the joyful day that awaits us. We will face many trials between this day and that, as Jude’s readers did, but we can be sure that nothing can shake our faith, which is held by our Lord, and nothing can prevent him from carrying our faith to completion." NOT SHAMEFUL TO REMEMBER Memories of war enable our society to remember the past, to express appreciation to those who sacrificed their lives and willingly served our country. At the same time we also need to acknowledge and accept that on occasions, events and happenings from the past, which would be considered unnecessary today, occurred for significant and highly acceptable reasons. Those of us today should never feel guilt nor shame for these actions, which some are constantly demanding that we do. This is why we, as Australians, come together every ANZAC Day. We do it to commemorate the ANZAC’s and their achievements: we should remember them though, not as old soldiers from a forgotten war, but as the young Australians each of them were in 1915, when they left our shores to defend Australia. Remembering moments from our history allows us as a society to learn from them and to move forward in a positive and determined manner. We cannot change history and nor should we, but we can and should learn from it. Australians young and old, will always remember them.

Yesterday was Memorial Day, a time to honor and remember those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms. This day always makes me pause and think about the values of dedication, commitment, and integrity that these heroes embodied. As a professional, I find myself deeply inspired by these values. How can we incorporate such unwavering dedication into our daily work? How can we ensure that we are committed to justice and integrity in every case we handle? For me, Memorial Day is not just a day of remembrance, but also a reminder to strive for excellence in all we do. It’s a call to honor those values in our own lives and professions. I’d love to hear your thoughts. How does Memorial Day inspire you in your professional journey? #MemorialDay #Reflection #Values #Dedication #Integrity

Today, we are celebrating the 77th birthday of our beloved homeland, Pakistan. Indeed, we should celebrate this great day because the country was created out of many sacrifices, be it in terms of human lives or otherwise. However, we should ask some pertinent questions to ourselves on this great day. The foremost question is, what do we mean by independence? If the mere separation of borders is independence, then probably we have achieved it. And if it means independence of thought, freedom of life, the pursuit of happiness, rule of law, observance of equality, fraternity and above all breaking shackles of slavery in our minds then probably we have failed to live up to these desired and cherished aspirations. Seventy-seven years is not a long time in a nations life, however, what matters most is the direction in which a nation is going. In my opinion, we are still short of embarking on the right path of true democracy and the rule of law. Today, we should promise ourselves that besides celebrating independence we as a nation will strive hard to achieve all those ideals for which this great nation and pure land was created back in 1947.
