I was at the height of my mental health struggles on the left picture. I was completely burned out. I wasn’t a good nurse or a good colleague and my entire life was turned upside down. The right picture is of me today. It took a lot of support and love from my family and friends, and I was privileged enough to pay for and have access to mental health tools and resources. It’s truly incredible the difference a year makes. I’m sharing my story because so many of my healthcare colleagues are also struggling with their mental health, in silence, because of the mental health stigma. The reason I get up everyday is to advocate, empower and support healthcare workers alongside my incredible team Plannly Health | Powered By Google. We want to give a voice to those who care for us. Please help me spread awareness on this incredibly important issue if you have a moment - like, subscribe, and tag other healthcare workers, your leaders, those in the behavioral health industry and even those who aren't - anyone. Because if we're serious about creating a better healthcare system, it starts with caring for those who care for us 💙 #MentalHealthSupport #BreakTheSilence #burnout #healthcareonlinkedin #nursesonlinkedin #registerednurse #nursing #nursingshortage #mentalhealth #depression #startup #smallbusiness #therapy #mission #clinicianwellbeing #nursingleaders #nurseleader #providerwellbeing #wellbeing #healthcareworker #physician #mentalhealthstigma #depression #anxiety #physicianshortage #hospital #counselor #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #burnoutprevention
