💡 What is your purpose? This was the main question and topic that David Neal talked about with the students of #medicalinformatics during the kick-off of the new academic year at Amsterdam UMC. 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦 is what gives meaning to both your professional and personal life. It reflects on your values, strengths and the feeling that what you do makes a difference. The start of a new academic year means exploring new subjects, new challenges and expanding your horizon. By giving an insight on the things that are important to him and the things that defined his purposes, the students were motivated to reflect on their own values and goals to start this new year. What is your purpose? What are the things you want to achieve?

Soon-to-be pharmacy technician who dreams of swapping scrubs for a white coat when I add PharmD to my name. Hospital hopeful eager to make a difference in pediatric oncology. Do any cafeterias have Michelin stars yet?
This is invaluable. It's tough when you have an idea of the career path you want to follow, but there isn't a lot of support for it. Luckily, healthcare is universal so it's great to see a program dedicated to helping students get started. I'm just getting started too - luckily I have the support of Futuro Health, but if you go to Indiana University Fort Wayne I definitely recommend taking part in this. #medicine #healthcare #healthcarecareers #alliedhealth #careerpath #lifescience #lifesciences #biology #medical
