I📚 Looking for some great books to read? Check out these three recent reads that I highly recommend! 🔥 If you're looking to build good habits, then #AtomicHabits by James Clear is a must-read. I finally got around to reading it and found so many useful tips on habit stacking and making habits enduring. It's really complementing my current read, #Grit by Angela Duckworth. Speaking of which, her TED Talk on the power of passion and perseverance is a must-watch! 📈 Feeling stuck in your career? Then #HiddenPotential by Adam Grant is the book for you. It describes how we should think about where we have come from as well as where we are at. Our journeys are all unique and some have been more exposed to setbacks and challenges to be addressed. It prompted me to draw a timeline of my career to this point and reflect on my own journey much more. Too often we focus on the destination rather than embracing the present and understanding how we got here. 📖 These books really complement each other, which is an added bonus. #readingrecommendations #professionaldevelopment

This was Transformation #10 within my Theory of Enchantment Training by Chloe Valdary In this lesson, we watched three commencement speaches, including this one. Dr. Donato highlights four points to shape how and why you criticize yourself and others. This quote from the speech really resonated with me. "Now, the world may not exactly realize it, but wow, does it need you. It is yearning, starving, dying for you and your healing offer of service through your Art. We need you to help us understand that which is bigger than ourselves, so that we can stop feeling so small, so isolated, so helpless that, in our fear, we stop contributing that which is unique to us: that distinct, rare, individual quality which the world is desperately crying out for and eagerly awaiting. We need you to remind us what unbridled, unfiltered, childlike exuberance feels like, so we remember, without apology or disclaimer, to laugh, to play, to FLY and to stop taking EVERYTHING so damn seriously.
