As we continue to move forward in Hispanic Heritage Month, we introduce more of those who complete our extensive ALAS familia! As stated in last week's post, we will continue introduce you to numerous members of our ALAS familia via our Yo Soy ALAS campaign. It's our goal to recognize many of those that work with us behind the scenes as well as on the frontlines day in and day out through this long overdue initiative. We are optimistic that it will encourage you to look further into ALAS, who we are, what we do, how we impact our community and most importantly that inspires you to get involved with us in some capacity. ALAS was born out of the community coming together to embrace a mission to celebrate culture, root care with justice and honor each individual and family we work with. Over the years so many have contributed their love and time to make ALAS the nonprofit of the year! We began with a determination for change and our work continues forward because of all who champion us forward.
