Brazil's municipal water treatment system is facing significant challenges due to underinvestment and water scarcity, which create public health risks and social inequities. Scotmas offers a promising solution with its chlorine dioxide technology, which is more effective, safer, and efficient than traditional chlorine. Retrofitting existing plants with ClO2 systems and government-private sector collaboration could transform Brazil's water treatment system and ensure a safer, more reliable water supply for its citizens. Learn more by visiting us at https://lnkd.in/eiPC887k Scotmas is attending IFAT Brasil in São Paulo from April 24 to 26, 2024. We will showcase our innovative Chlorine Dioxide-based water treatment solutions at table 15 in The Innovation Pavilion. #BrazilWaterCrisis #WaterTreatmentSystem #PublicHealth #Scotmas #ChlorineDioxide #SafeWater #EfficientWaterTreatment #CleanWaterForAll #IFATBrasil

How water can enable networking. As a company that captures carbon from water, everyone who is working on Mission 2030 of Pure Carbon Blue thinks water is something positive. That’s because we know water is good for business and good for the environment. But now water also enables us to get to know new people. This week, we went to @Aqua Nederland in Gorinchem. At this event in the Netherlands we learned new things about wastewater, drinking water, process water and urban water & sewage management. In a three-day trade show from the 19th to the 21st of March, the supply and demand of water technology, water management services and knowledge products were brought together. At Pure Carbon Blue, we're looking forward to meeting industry professionals and getting a complete overview of products and services of the world’s leading companies. Professionals who, just like us, see water as an enabler to accelerate resilient and sustainable development. This also allows us to talk with like-minded people about our Direct Water Capture system that we’d like to build before 2030. Because the more people and business leaders discuss the solutions the world can implement today, the better. Water is awesome if you're able to see its potential. #Water #AquaNederland #ClimateAction #EnergyTransition #Sustainability

This year’s Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) reminds us once more of the necessity of water. Singapore is one of the most water-stressed countries in the world, and it must balance a growing demand for water alongside a lack of natural resources. Maintaining a clean and accessible water supply is thus a key concern for Singapore. However, the water problem has been exacerbated by rapid climate change. Many impacts of climate change are water-related, such as rising sea levels, melting icecaps, floods, and droughts, resulting in environmental degradation and numerous social consequences. It is thus imperative for Singapore, as well as the rest of the world, to make water sustainable for future generations. This year’s SIWW focuses on four themes: Climate Mitigation and Water Sustainability, Climate Adaptation, Digitalisation, Water Quality and One Health. Running from 18 to 22 June 2024, it will feature a host of esteemed industry experts and city leaders, gathering to share and create water, coastal, and flood solutions. Join Keppel there and hear our solutions for progress towards a water-sustainable future.
