Really pleased to have contributed to the creation of the EDT Principles - a new tool from Equality Impact Investing and Bates Wells to regulate power imbalances in impact investing. Legal community, take note of Principle 4: shaping and using investment deal terms, legal processes and documents that are clear, balanced and reflect an equitable sharing of risk between all parties! Our Equalising Deal Terms Key Investor Principles (the EDT Principles) support impact investors, investees and their legal advisers towards increasing equality and equity in their legal processes and practices.
