Focus on the 3 W's to find your dream role 1. What type of work do you want to do? 2. Where do you want to work? 3. Who do you want to work for? Then, Give yourself a scorecard out of 10 for each of the 3 above. How do they rate? Can you do anything to change things? If you must exit, how long would you like the runway to be...? Dream roles are often created by positioning yourself with the correct company / business owner. It rarely exists as "done for you". Back to back wins in your career begins by being clear.

Leading Professional Women to Career Bliss🎯| Ex-Management Consultant turned Career Coach | Love your Career and Keep your Success without Giving up your Soul 💥 | Speaker 🎤
I used to be defined by my job title. Then I got fired—and rewrote my entire story. In 2019, I was at the top of my game. → A fancy title at a global company → Traveling the world, speaking on international stages → Flying business class and collecting those status / rewards points I was living the corporate dream. But then, out of nowhere, it happened: (those 7 words top performers never expect to hear) "Your job has been eliminated, effective immediately." I had built my career over decades, but in an instant, I was out. → No warning → No safety net → Just me, trying to figure out what came next Here’s the thing about moments like these... You can either: → Let it break you, or → Let it be the turning point that changes your life. I chose the latter. → I negotiated my severance like I was negotiating my next big job offer → I took time off instead of rushing into the same role somewhere else → I hired a business coach instead of asking for advice from people stuck in jobs they hated Three months later, I launched my business. Was I scared? → Yes, I was absolutely terrified But I did it anyway. I did it scared. And what I didn’t expect? That career setback didn’t just change my professional life—it changed my entire life. → I met the love of my life → I became part of a family I didn’t even know I needed → I built a business that aligns with my passion and purpose Rewriting my story wasn’t just about bouncing back from being fired. It was about creating a life that’s fully aligned with who I am and what I truly want. If you’re feeling stuck → Whether you’ve lost a job, → Outgrown your current role, or → Are unfulfilled in your career Know this - you can rewrite your story too. You don’t have to settle for something that doesn’t align with your values or vision for your life. The moment you choose to step into your truth, everything starts to fall into place. Trust me, I’m living proof of that. So let me ask you: What’s the next chapter of your story going to be? ♻️ Share this with someone who needs a reminder that setbacks can lead to incredible comebacks.

🔑 When one door closes, another one opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us. – Alexander Graham Bell Life often throws unexpected challenges our way, and it's easy to get caught up in the disappointment of a door closing. Whether it's a job loss, a missed opportunity, or a setback, it can feel like the end of the road. But in these moments, it's crucial to remember Bell's wisdom. A closed door isn't the end; it's an invitation to look around and find the new opportunities waiting for us. Every end is a new beginning, and every challenge brings with it the seed of growth and transformation. To all my connections facing uncertainties or transitions, take heart. There is another door opening for you. Stay positive, stay proactive, and keep your eyes open for the new opportunities that are just around the corner. #Opportunity #Growth #PositiveMindset #Resilience #CareerJourney

Award-winning professional (Outstanding Employee Award & Employee of the Week) in the education industry. Expert knowledge pertaining to administration policies & procedures, records & budget, student enrollment data.
Here are my top ten working gems: 1) Be on time and be consistent. 2) Pay attention to detail and be a listener. 3) Work Hard and take notes. 4) Be committed to the organization. 5) Play the long game with your career not be a job hopper. 6) The focus shouldn’t be just the money look for the opportunities. 7) Believe in yourself, but know yourself and your abilities. 8) Work on your craft and know everyone’s job in your organization. 9) If you love your job you will never work a day in your life. 10) Have faith and know, it’s not always about you, It’s about the team and what the team has accomplishment. Those ten things are universal to successful people in any business or organization. However, there’s a reason “Be On Time” is first, because if you can’t do that, none of the other things matters. Here my bonus gem, YOU BE THE CHANGE to the organization. Folks wait on the change to happen, the change is within you, just share it with your colleagues. It will allow folks to want to come to work and work hard for you because they don’t want to let down the team. Discuss the things that’s not working well for the organization, but collaborate and discuss new things that could work so everyone is apart of the solution, then everyone is apart of the team and owners of the successful process. Then you will notice collegues will want to work side by side with you fully committed. It’s nothing more fulfilling than accomplishing something as team with your colleagues. It’s a beautiful feeling! I hope this helps someone or organization. It’s no ownership to this logic because if this mindset wins for you then EVERYONE WINS in your organization and society. We should be all winners in life! I’m still dreaming (Dream Chaser) and looking for opportunities in life and in my career, knowing I have something to give, offer, and lead! Friends and Family always be ready to shoot your shot because you should always be open for your next opportunity granted to yourself….. just be ready and prepared!

Helping hungry executive, business coaches and consultants scale with predictable results. I also work as an Intellectual Property Portfolio Executive with Vibrant IP.
Who do you know who lacks "purpose" with their work, career, or profession? Lacking purpose and meaning, getting lost in the dark is easy. I'll never forget feeling directionless in my career from my late 20s to about 30 when I quit my job and launched into business. It was a scary leap, but I took that risk, dove into my new work, and immediately realized, "This is what it feels like to love what you truly do." The personal growth and fulfillment from taking that risk were empowering and inspiring. It's a great feeling with many positive byproducts, including endless energy, insatiable curiosity, and a consistent passion that seems to push me forward even when I get in my way. If you're ready to shift gears, this may be the wake-up call you've been waiting for. If you or anyone you know feels "stuck" in your professional career or business life, message me, and I'll share a simple worksheet I created to help us clarify what we truly want to do for work.

Founder: CreateNext | Proven system for C-Suite + Senior Execs to create what's next in their careers (and life).
Here’s the truth... The reason you’re struggling to figure out what’s next isn’t because you lack: • the skills • the network • the drive It’s because, deep down, you just don’t care about the options in front of you anymore. You’ve spent decades: • making an impact • leading teams • driving results But now... the thought of jumping into another W2 role? It doesn’t light that fire inside you. It feels like more of the same. What if you could do exactly what you love and get paid what you’re worth? What if you could build something that’s yours... on your terms? You’ve worked too hard and too long... not to create the life and career you truly want. It’s time to break out of the box and stop settling for less. Do the work you want, the way you want, and with the people you want... ____________________________ I help Senior Executives create the work (and lives) they want.

Those words have really resonated with me lately. In our careers, we're often faced with forks in the road - opportunities to pivot, changes that force us to adapt, or simply feeling stuck and in need of a fresh start. The prospect of beginning anew can be daunting. However, that insightful quote is a powerful reminder that we're never truly starting from square one. Every role, every challenge, every success and failure we've been through lays a foundation of experience to build upon. The skills, lessons, and perspectives we've gained aren't erased when we embark on a new path. That cumulative experience positions us to approach the next opportunity or hurdle with wisdom and tools that only come from living and learning through the journeys that came before. While the unknown can be intimidating, those hard-earned experiences equip us to not just survive changes and fresh starts, but to thrive through them. We have the advantage of pattern recognition, resilience forged through past obstacles, and insights that can only come from walking the winding professional roads that led us here. So to anyone grappling with a career shift, rebrand, upskilling, or journey into the great unknown, don't be afraid. This new beginning isn't built on scratching - it's constructed solidly upon the invaluable experiences of your unique past. Lean on those experiences as the strongest of foundations, and use them to elevate your future accomplishments to new heights.

Not every task you're working on will feel like it's in alignment with your goals or passions. Sometimes, the work in front of you isn't ideal, or it may not even be what you want to do long term. But remember this-*hard work, no matter where you apply it, is never wasted. The hours you're putting in now are building something beyond the immediate results. You're growing your discipline, resilience, and your ability to push through even when the work doesn't light a fire inside you. These are the qualities that will set you apart when the right opportunities come your way. Not every chapter in your story will be glamorous or exciting, but they all matter. Stay dedicated, stay focused, and trust that the grind you're enduring now is laying the foundation for something greater. The lessons learned in these moments will be invaluable when you finally step into work that truly inspires you. Keep going-you're not just working on the task, you're working on yourself. Stay strong and keep pushing!
