My 5 learnings for reaching 15.000 followers on Linkedin 👇
No magic bullets here.
1. Define your target audience & your tone of voice
For me, I'm focusing purely on B2B SaaS companies, with a PLG approach. It allows me to connect with the right people, write the content towards them and not worry about the rest.
2. Post regular, valuable content
If you want to grow, you want to be consistent in being present with valuable content for your target audience. What helps me a lot is the Grow Your B2B SaaS Podcast, as it produces a lot of content. I don't re-use my old content.
3. Keep connecting with your target audience
I'm not just accepting inbound requests, I will sent out connection requests to my target audience (with no note). Not sure if the guru's say the same, but for me not adding a note to them seems to work better.
4. I don't care about going viral
My posts are 'boring' for people which are not in B2B SaaS, and won't have big potential of going viral; I might have posted a meme once. I want to become a thought leader within the B2B SaaS space, and have chosen to do this with valuable content (#2).
5. Writing the posts manually, and on the day itself.
I have not scheduled posts on my personal profile in the last year. This post is something I came up with just now, and I would write it out and post it right away. No scheduler here.

Want to grow faster than me? Consider doing the following;
- Engage more on other peoples content, I don't really play the comment game
- Schedule your posts, it would help you become more consistent
- Try to go viral, with meme's or other type of content
- Re-use your content; see what is working and keep re-using it
- Connect with everyone, not focusing on a real niche.
