I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Abhijit Chaudhuri for the wonderful opportunity to speak at SDA Bocconi Asia Center. It was a true honor to share insights and connect with such talented students.
A special thank you to SDA Bocconi Asia Center for providing this exceptional platform. The session was highly interactive, with students exploring the disruptive potential of additive manufacturing and discovering how Markforged 3D Printing, as a Cyber-Physical System, is transforming industries.
Our Markforged University Platform—a comprehensive customer education program—enables customers to complete multi-day training at their own pace. The course combines video instruction, interactive training, theoretical insights, and applied examples, along with demos from successful Markforged customers. This approach allows participants to begin applying what they've learned directly to their work.
"The greatest advantage of Markforged additive manufacturing is that it empowers you to unleash your creativity and swiftly develop solutions to customers' challenges—something traditional manufacturing methods simply can't match."

Researchers are developing low-cost digital solutions to help companies share data in their #supplychain, following a Supply Chain Requirements workshop run at the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), University of Cambridge last month.
Using an adapted version of the Shoestring | Digital Manufacturing workshop, researchers from the Made Smarter UK Connected Factories Centre led the interactive session. Participants from manufacturing companies identified what data they would want to send to and receive from customers and suppliers. Attendees also saw a few low-cost solutions in action across the 'IfM factory'. The IfM's 3D printing and robot labs are acting as different sites, sharing information via digital solutions built from off-the-shelf technologies, using the #Shoestring approach.
Find out what digital solution areas addressed these manufacturers's top business challenges, and the type of data they would like to share with suppliers and customers in our latest news story ➡ https://lnkd.in/erETwYNCSam Brooks, Tasnim A. 3 years ago …, I joined the ASTP through my innovative proposal: a portable, easy-to-use, and low cost device for measuring contact angle of a droplet using 3D Printing Technology & smartphone.
As a R&D researcher, I’m happy to share my first video podcast introducing my portable, easy-to-use, and low cost equipment for measuring contact angle of a droplet on the solid surface presented in one of my recent paper “Design and Fabrication of a Portable Smartphone-based Contact Angle Measurement Instrument with 3D Printing Technology for Surface Sciences and Engineering Applications” published by the esteemed Conference: 7th international conference on physics, mathematics, and development of basic science which can be found at the following link: https://lnkd.in/dwFqRdBm.
