Just Milked getting first cut grass cleared with the KRONE Agriculture Big X 630 with a few of the fleet in carting back to the silage pit. Krone Big X 630 making it look easy tho which do you prefer the Black Valtra Inc. carting or the New Holland Agriculture Blue Power T7.270. Just outside Newton Stewart on the Strabane Road is the Just Milked shop which I must say is worth a stop in... Plus who doesn't like to support a family farm Our farm is family-run and has been passed down through generations. We initially bought the farm in 1943, and it continued to get bigger and bigger. We farm 1200 acres, and we have a mixed herd of 600 cows, including Jersey Cross Cows and British Friesian Cows. At Carson’s Farm, we understand the importance of implementing sustainable practices in anaerobic digester response to climate change. This is why in 2016, we set up our own renewable energy to power our farm and sell to the grid. We have also installed milking robots on our farm so the cows can go and get milked when they please. Milking cows this way also ensures the milk is of better quality and minimises any stress to the cows. Creating such delicious and nutritious whole milk, it only made sense for us to provide our customers with a means to access good quality whole milk. This is why we set up our milk stations where you purchase a glass bottle, fill it up, and return to refill it as needed. 🐟Fish canning plant🥫 (Yugoslavia/Croatia🇭🇷, 1967). The fish processing and canning company “Jadranka” was established in Vela Luka in 1892 by a Viennese industrialist. Initially focused on manual fish processing, the company later expanded into canned fish production. Operating through World War I, it faced challenges and changed ownership several times. Despite setbacks, it thrived in the post-war period, reaching its production peak in the 1960s, when it was part of Yugoslavia, as shown in this video📽️. The amazing footage of the canning line shows us what the state of the art in the industry was at the time. The fish🐟 was cleaned and placed in irregular tin cans manually. Subsequently, the metal cans🥫 passed into the German-built clincher, model Lubeca LW790. The lids, before being joined to the can bodies, were embossed by a rotary marker. Then, the cans were transferred to a two-head seamer, model Lubeca VA303, which operated at a speed of approx 60 CPM. By then, the Company had diversified its operations, including retail stores and additional jobs for workers. However, market changes and modernization efforts couldn't sustain its success, leading to closure in 2006🚦.
