Poultry processors are increasingly focused on resource utilization, environmental sustainability, and product quality to satisfy the consumer demand while maintaining a profitable production. It is critical to know and adjust to market developments while also improving and optimizing productivity for today and the future. Oliver Hahn, CEO BAADER Food Systems USA, addressed this at the panel for ‘Processing 2035: Doing more while using less’ at WATT’s Chicken Marketing Summit this year. “Technology and resource utilization will always be advancing; however, the pace of implementation is determined by all.” he says, “It must make sense and be beneficial for consumers, legislators, producers, and equipment developers, etc.” WATT’s annual Chicken Marketing Summit connects professionals from all aspects of poultry processing and addresses relevant US market topics.
