Embracing Change: The Future of Work is Flexibility for All Employees Leadership plays a crucial role in championing a culture of flexibility. Forward-thinking leaders understand that trust is the foundation of a flexible work environment. When employees feel trusted to manage their own time and deliver results, it fosters a sense of empowerment and accountability. As we look ahead, the future of work is undoubtedly flexible, but it's also dynamic and continually evolving. Companies that proactively adapt to these changes will not only attract and retain top talent but will also be better equipped to navigate the uncertainties that lie ahead. Embracing flexibility for all employees is not just a strategic move; it is a commitment to building a workplace that values the uniqueness of each individual, ultimately contributing to a more resilient, innovative, and fulfilling professional landscape. https://lnkd.in/gVKPQy4Q steve@sinclairwilde.com.au “We engaged Steve & Sinclair Wilde to source and secure the services of 2 Franchise Operations Managers and 2 Marketing Managers. We were delighted with the ease of the process, their professionalism and the excellent talent that was revealed and secured. ❇️ Green flags to look for in evaluating a company’s culture ❇️ There are a lot of red flags to look out for with company culture but I’ll choose to focus on the positive! Here are 4 green flags: Vision - Is there a clear vision? Can I see the vision? How do I fit into this vision? These are important questions to know. Embrace failure - A company that embraces failure is constantly pushing the agenda forward and focused on growth. Communication - Should always be a 2-way street. You have to able to have real conversations and create authentic relationships. Encourage diversity - Having people who look different, come from different backgrounds, have unique experiences can really add perspective and value. Bonus green flag for my sales managers - Hiring for who people are and not what is on their resume is key. My ideal candidate profile is compromised of characteristics and attributes of who I believe will for in with the team, add value and have grit to succeed. ____________________________ New York Life Northern California Be good @ life 💙

"The secret to my success is that we have gone to exceptional lengths to hire the best people in the world" - Steve Jobs "I hire people brighter than me and get out of their way: - Lee Iacocca "If I am the smartest person in my company, then my company will go nowhere" - Issa Rae "If you pick the right people and give them the oppurtunity to spread their wings and put compensation as a carrier behind it, you almost dont have to manage them" - Jack Welch "Great vision without great people is irrelevant" - Jim Collins "If each of us hires people who are smaller than we are, we shall become a company of dwarfs. But if each of us hires people who are bigger than we are, we shall become a company of giants." - David Ogilvy "If I were running a company today, I would have one priority above all others: to acquire as many of the best people as I could [because] the single biggest constraint on the success of my organization is the ability to get and to hang on to enough of the right people." - Jim Collins "If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." - Red Adair Avi Satt Daniel Norman Chantal Letts Cornfield, MHSA, CDP

Time well spent with Donald Olson, a Workforce Education Consultant at CareerSource Suncoast. Don has intriguing variety in his career from IT director, HR management consultant, to florist startup owner. He was the 27th person to draw from my deck of The Diary Of A CEO Conversation Cards. ✅ Don relayed that there were times when he was discounted by an authority in the workplace, essentially told to stay in his swim lane when raising his hand to contribute outside of his role. Instead of accepting he would now assert himself and convey the reasons why his opinion should carry weight. 🏋️♂️ ✅ I shared that there are a few people I know that have so much goodness in them that in some inexplicable way they resemble what I understand to be God. Oddly, I haven't shared this feeling with any of them, but now, when I have the opportunity, I will. 🤝 👉 Pro Tip: When selling, be as direct and open as appropriate and possible. When we unnecessarily withhold, we risk one of two things. First, we limit the potential opportunity to reach agreement (or not!) in a timely manner. And second, our behavior can be misinterpreted as subterfuge.🚪 If you're interested in connecting with me to discuss life, business and sales, book an appointment here: https://lnkd.in/eppXMPi7 Like this post? AI Product Manager | Business Analyst | AI Consultant | Nocode | On a mission to impact the lives of 1 million IT professionals with AI by 2030
I stopped thinking like an employee and started thinking like a CEO. Here’s why that shift changed everything: The employee mindset: 🔹Stays in their comfort zone 🔹Blames circumstances 🔹Avoids risks 🔹Seeks security in a paycheck The CEO mindset: 🔹Faces fear head-on 🔹Plans for growth 🔹Seeks opportunities, not excuses 🔹Builds a personal brand 🔹Invests in their future ⚡ Here’s the truth: Job security is a myth, and career paths aren’t linear anymore. You need to take control of your career like a CEO Ddefine your vision, build your brand, and surround yourself with the right people.
