Exciting news for our clients Patria and Babcock International Group who have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to present the Patria 6x6 vehicle platform to the UK armed forces to meet the operational requirements of the British Army.  

The 202 Workshop Depot has successfully completed the preparation of 94 Medium Support Vehicle Systems Standard Military Pattern (MSVS SMP). Many of which are now deployed on Operation REASSURANCE Their work included: ·        Installing armoured cabins to protect military personnel in the field. ·        Completing 18 fleet modifications to enhance vehicle reliability. None of this would have been possible without the dedication, skill, and agility of the 202 Workshop Depot’s incredible workforce. We’re proud to play a vital role in equipping our troops with cutting-edge systems to safeguard Canada’s interests at home and abroad. #WellEquipped

Leading defence manufacturer awards Kitron order for deliveries to U.S. Army. The order has an annual value of over USD 5 million, with a potential extension of the program for an additional two years.   The order is for custom electronics for the U.S. Army and allied forces. Production will take place at Kitron’s U.S. facility in Windber, PA, and deliveries are expected to start in mid-2025. 🔗 More information: https://lnkd.in/dj9prkXp

🇮🇹🇩🇪Italian Army to replace its Ariete tanks with German KF51 Panthers | The Italian Army plans to replace its Ariete tanks with up to 380 German KF51 Panthers in a €10 billion modernization program. This decision, confirmed at the recent AIVC conference, aims to enhance Italy’s military capabilities amid rising geopolitical tensions. The KF51 tanks will be co-manufactured by @Leonardo_live and @RheinmetallAG through their joint venture, with about 60% of production occurring in Italy. Additionally, over 1,000 KF41 Lynx infantry fighting vehicles will be acquired as part of this extensive upgrade to Italy’s armored forces

Introducing the #ARES variant which is the common base for all the #AJAX variants and will be used to deliver and support specialist troops across the battlefield, including anti-tank javelin teams, snipers and support troops. The Esercito Italiano - Italian Army has taken a significant step in its modernisation programme with the arrival of the Lynx KF41 armoured infantry fighting vehicle at the Army Multipurpose Testing Centre. The vehicle will undergo rigorous verification, testing, and technical evaluation to assess its mobility, protection, firepower, and interoperability. This testing phase is part of the Italian Army’s Armoured Infantry Combat System (AICS) programme, which aims to procure over 1,000 armoured combat systems across 16 variants. The modular design of the Lynx KF41 makes it suitable for diverse roles, such as infantry fighting, troop transport, mobile command post, and ambulance configurations. These tests are conducted by Army engineers and test pilots at Cepolispe, which operates under the Army Logistics Command. The Lynx KF41 serves as a cornerstone of the AICS programme and is integral to a broader collaboration between Rheinmetall and Leonardo, two leading European defence technology companies.
