As an employer-What are you trying to achieve when you hire someone? Think about the process you go through with applicants and the business goals you are pursuing. If you are looking to stand still, by all means, hire a drone. Hire the person who will fluff the resume and shove their sniffer where the sun doesn't shine. But, if you want to grow, make sure you are hiring people who embody the spirit of your company. If your company advertises practice approaches then pick someone with passion. If it's outreach, look for empathy and compassion. The lowest paid employee right up to you should embody your company during work hours, and this will be more easily achieved with personalities that fit.
