A leader's #Reputation as someone who creates #Value for others is extremely important. It's a critical component of your overall effectiveness and your ability to influence and lead others. When you are known for adding value, you build trust and respect, which are foundational for strong leadership. To improve your reputation as a leader who creates value for others, consider the following steps: ✅ 1. Understand What Others Value: To create value for others, you first need to understand what they consider valuable. This requires listening, empathy, and a willingness to learn from the people around you. ✅2 . Align Actions with Organizational Goals: Ensure that your actions and decisions are aligned with the goals of your team / organization. By doing so, you demonstrate a commitment to the collective success rather than just individual achievement. ✅ 3. Be Consistent: Consistency in your behavior and decision-making process reassures others of your reliability and makes it easier for them to understand and predict how you will add value in various situations. ✅ 4. Communicate Effectively: Clearly articulate your vision and how you plan to create value. Effective communication helps others to see the benefits of your leadership and rallies them around common goals. ✅ 5. Deliver Results: Ultimately, your reputation is built on the results you deliver. Focus on achieving tangible outcomes that benefit the team and the organization. ✅ 6. Seek Feedback: Regularly seek feedback from peers, managers, and subordinates to understand how your actions are perceived and what impact they have on others. ✅ 7. Mentor and Develop Others: Part of creating value is investing in the development of your team and others. By mentoring and helping others grow, you multiply the value you bring to the organization. ✅ 8. Demonstrate Integrity: Always act with integrity and ethical behavior. People value leaders who are honest and who they can trust to do the right thing. Remember, improving your reputation as a leader who creates value is a long-term investment. It requires dedication, self-awareness, and a genuine commitment to serving others. #MonkeyLeadershipSeries #LeadershipGenes #StrategicLeadership #NonDestructiveLeadershipMediaLab #Coaching

What’s the essence of true leadership? A true leader often converts into a coach... ... whose victories are measured not by personal accolades but by the successes and growth of their team members. A true leader acts as a coach, guiding their team from mere participation to achieving victory. Here are the keystones for cultivating a winning spirit: ✅ Self-Reflection: Before questioning the team's performance, evaluate your leadership. Authentic growth starts with self-awareness. ✅ Empower with Trust: Hand over the reins of decision-making. Empowerment fosters ownership, and trust cultivates innovation. ✅ Celebrate Every Milestone: Recognition isn't just for the finish line. Celebrate the small victories and learn from every outcome. ✅ Champion Continuous Learning: Encourage your team to seek knowledge and skills. Invest in their growth, and watch innovation thrive. ✅ Communication is Key: Cultivate an environment where ideas are freely shared, and feedback is valued. Listening can be your most powerful tool. ✅ Lead with Vision and Vulnerability: Share your vision, but also your challenges. Vulnerability strengthens connections and builds trust. Leadership is not about the title or the corner office; it's about being the coach who doesn't just direct but inspires, guides, and most importantly, believes in their team's ability to win. The true measure of our success as leaders is found in the triumphs of those we guide. ♻ Do you agree? If yes, please share with your network. ❓ What would you add to the above list? #Leadership #Inspiration #Coaching #TeamSuccess

I recently encountered a fantastic conversation with Simon Sinek, a renowned leadership expert, and I wanted to share it with you. In this inspiring video, Simon shares his thoughts on what it takes to be a successful leader. He emphasises the importance of authenticity, purpose, and inspiring others to follow. As someone passionate about personal growth and development, I found these insights particularly valuable. Here are some key takeaways that I think are worth sharing: 1) Start with why: Simon's famous "Golden Circle" concept reminds us that every organization starts with a purpose, not a product or service. This got me thinking about values and passions, and how they drive goals and decisions. 2) Lead by example: Authenticity is crucial in leadership, and Simon stresses the importance of modelling the behaviours and values we expect from others. 3) Inspire through storytelling: Simon highlights the power of storytelling in connecting with others and conveying our message. This got me thinking about how to use my stories to inspire and motivate myself and those around me. 4) Empower others: Effective leaders empower their teams to take ownership and make decisions. This made me realize the importance of supporting and enabling those around me to grow and succeed. 5) Focus on people, not just productivity: Simon reminds us that leadership is ultimately about people – their well-being, growth, and fulfilment. This made me reflect on how I can prioritize these aspects in my own life and relationships. If you're interested in learning more about effective leadership, I recommend checking out this video featuring Simon Sinek: https://lnkd.in/dVgZaGta I hope you find these takeaways as thought-provoking as I do! Let's continue to learn from each other and grow as individuals. #development #knowledgesharing

There are so many narratives out there about what a leader should or shouldn't do..... The servant leader.... the corporate leader...... the compassionate leader...... the visionary leader..... the genius leader....... the powerful leader...... And the reality is that true leadership is as unique as your own fingerprint. =====> No-one can replicate the way you lead when you're embodying your whole self. The passion, authenticity, vision, care, drive and intuition that is uniquely yours has a narrative of its own. And that's why working one to one with leaders is such a privilege for me. The deeply personal and most powerful parts of us are often hidden away..... .....concealed by past traumas, learned habits, lack of time, external pressures, false ideas, sub-conscious dynamics.... But it's the most energising thing you can do to step into coaching sessions that support you to connect with the real you. ===============> When we tap into your true source of confidence, dynamism, trust and belief, the energy we find is extraordinary. The leader you are when you find the key to your truest self is unstoppable. And it's the most magnetic and captivating part of the work I do. =====> ...I can get bogged down trying to capture the 'benefits of coaching' in that marketing style of language we're 'supposed to use'. The truth is that the benefits of coaching are an almost indescribable feeling. A connection to yourself you might not have experienced for quite some time. I'm not sure if I've captured that feeling in this post. But I'm going to keep trying to capture that feeling as a means of sharing my passion for what I do and my vision for what true leadership, beyond hierarchy really means. #leadingbeyondhierarchy #leadershipcoaching #authenticleadership #writeyourownnarrative
