Chelsea once had SIX separate captains in the same starting XI Also, they had captains in squads with many other elite-level players at the international level. That shows the level of leadership. Liverpool now's close to this result. Do you expect to see more significant achievements like that? #fsm #digitalmarketing #advertising #sports #sportsmarketing #sportsbetting #sportsbook

As we've welcomed in the New Year, let's take a quick pulse on the Premier League's team momentum, derived from their last 3 home and away matches. This momentum score is a simple yet telling indicator of each team's current form as they enter a critical phase of the season. 📈 The attached chart visualizes the teams' performances with a straightforward goal differential metric. Notably, Bournemouth and Liverpool have hit a stride, surging ahead with the strongest positive momentum. 📉 On the flip side, Brentford and Sheffield United face a tougher climb, entering the New Year with a need to reverse their negative momentum trends. Any thoughts or comments? 🧐 While insightful, this analysis comes with caveats: - It doesn't reflect the quality of opposition, where a victory against a top team is weighted the same as against a lower-tier team. - Short-term momentum may not predict future performance, especially in the face of strategic shifts, player availability, and fixture difficulty. 🤝 I'm eager to hear your thoughts on these momentum trends and any predictions for the coming matches! #PremierLeague #Football #DataAnalytics #SportsScience #MachineLearning #NewYear #Momentum

Should you quit as the leader if you've failred to deliver on your primary objective? Gareth Southgate resigned as England's manager yesterday because he's failed to deliver a tournament win. The stats show that in an 80 year history of England football and of the 20 mangers in that time Southgate has had: - Third highest number of wins of any England manager - Fifth highest win % of any England manager - Third most played games - The most consistent performance in international tournaments with 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in 4/5 tournaments, the best since Alf Ramsey in the 60s and 70s with . But there was no big win. No trophy. No national holiday to celebrate the success. Is this a good example of needing to celebrate small wins even if there is no 'big win'? Has Gareth Southgate given up when he could be 6 inches from gold next time? Or has he made the most difficult, yet most important decision leaders need to take, to know when to go? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments #GarethSouthgate #Football #Leadership #Leadershipdevelopment #Euros2024

Under the #leadership of Thomas Frank, Brentford is one of The Premier League's most exciting teams to watch. Their recruitment strategy identified talents like Ivan Toney, Said Benrahma, Ollie Watkins, and David Raya. 🚀 By leveraging #analytics and strategic recruitment to compete against teams with larger budgets, the club has succeeded both on and off the pitch. Going for the 4th consecutive Premier League season, they stand out as one of the rare clubs to consistently close their books with a #profit. 💰 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱'𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 𝘃𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯) 1️⃣ 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲: 2022: £140.9M 2023: £166.5M YoY Change: +£25.6M (+18.1%) 2️⃣ 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘀: 2022: £116.8M 2023: £165.6M YoY Change: +£48.8M (+41.8%) 3️⃣ 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁: 2022: £29.7M 2023: £10.0M YoY Change: -£19.7M 4️⃣ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿: 2022: £25.7M 2023: £10.9M YoY Change: -£14.8M 🔎 For a more detailed analysis, I invite you to explore the breakdown in the attached PDF.
