"I wanted the piece to crash into the ceiling." "eekualim" is a newly installed art piece inside Baird Center. Part of the We Energies Foundation Art Collection, Jay Yan created custom algorithmic software, which utilizes similar principles of AI, to help him create this giant-sized piece outside of our Grand Ballroom. Made out of over 7,600 colored pieces of stainless steel, Jay Yan's piece is a prime example of the convergence of art and technology. Last week at Connect Marketplace, we got to see creativity in action as LEGO Masters Nealita Nelson and Randall Wilson II brought Baird Center to life—brick by brick!
